Thanks for stopping by to find out a little more about me. First off, believe it or not...I am a morning person. Strange huh? I love to wake up early in the morning, it's still nighttime outside, and the biggest plus BARELY ANYONE ON THE ROAD at 5AM. Well, I come from Ohio and Kentucky, oh and Indiana too. Born in Cincinnati and lived there for a little while, was raised most of my life in Holmes County Ohio (Amish Capital of the World), so I am a HUGE Cincinnati Reds Fan! Since I moved to Arizona, I have fell in love with it so much I have decided to make this my home. What a great place to live! ATTIRE: Polo shirt with a pair of jeans and new shoes.
BIRTHPLACE: Cincinnati Ohio, on the banks of the Mighty Ohio River (see in a van down by the river, just kidding). I spent majority of my childhood in Holmes County Ohio.
CONCERT OF A LIFETIME: Vertical Horizon at Germain Amphitheater
DOGS OR CATS: I used to have a dog named Petie that was like my brother. I moved all over the place and adopted a cat named Valarie until I moved to Arizona where she was abducted by someone (bummer). Finally I adopted a tabico cat named Bree who is a little over one year old.
EYE COLOR: I was told the official name is Confederate Blue, but what do I know?
FAVORITE MOMENT AT THE STATION: Running into the glass window in our master control room. Okay, I was a little tired, it was really early in the morning.
GREATEST CHILDHOOD MEMORY: Seeing the Cincinnati Reds play and having a Skyline Chili Dog at the game.
HEALTHFREAK: Uhhhh....can I get back to you on that one?
INSTRUMENTS I PLAY: I do play the piano!
JUST BECAUSE I CARE: I am a member of the American Foundation for Better Community Development Centers, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Hope for the Homeless and many others.
KNOW IT ALL: Arizona is the fastest growing state in the United States and it is because of Maricopa County with Yavapai following in second.
LEISURE: Radio is kinda my life. I love this industry and have made it more than just a job, but my leisure and passion too! For fun I get involved in the community and like to do community service projects. Go to Sedona about once a month too.
MEAL OF CHOICE: Steak (WELL DONE) and Garlic Mashed Potatoes
NICKNAME: Dano has been what I adopted as a nickname quite some time ago.
OTHER THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT ME: Cincinnati Sports fan, everything that is sports from Cincinnati I am a huge fan of. Bengals, Bearcats, Reds, everything! Oh..I have been doing radio for 11 going on 12 years now starting at a little station in Holmes County Ohio.
PLANS AFTER RETIREMENT: I love radio...never plan on retiring from the industry, I love it too much! You will hear me spinning CD's on the morning show 60 years from now.
QUANTUM PHYSICS: That was an awesome show...oh wait, that was Quantum Leap!
RIGHT OR LEFT HANDED: Lefty all the way!
SHOE SIZE: 17...yep SEVENTEEN!
THANKFUL FOR WHAT: I love my family. I have a sister in college at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (my alma matter) and my parents both back in Ohio. Since I moved to Arizona, I have made some very amazing friendships. My best friends Cindy, Brian, Bryon, James and too many more to list. I love working here, hands down..the best place I have worked in my career! We have a great family here, and I love coming in to do what I love everyday.
X-RAYS: Surprisingly, I have never officially broke a bone. I say official, because it seems like I have done so in the past but has never been documented.
YOUR BIGGEST FEAR: I don't even like to write their names! If it has more than four legs, it should not even think about existing!
ZEBRAS ARE FUN: Not sure why someone would even ask me this. I am more of a Giraffe kinda guy, but Zebras are cool too! Especially the gum that was multiple stripes that my grandma would buy me on Sunday mornings!
